How to Put a Price on your very special self?

How to Put a Price on your very special self?

How to price yourself. What will you charge your clients? This is a good one to be clear on right from word go! Be certain of what you are offering and know your worth.

Some quick tips on setting your prices.
  • Know your competition. Survey similar services in the area (names, details, prices) and check how that compares to yourself.
  • You want to be the best! Ensure to better describe your services than your competitors. What makes you better? What is your point of difference?
  • Price! You know what you are worth! Is that in alignment with what the going rate is? Coming in too cheap, you will find it incredibly difficult to upscale your prices at a later stage, and people may never value your product/service.
  • Have a template price list that you can easily adjust if need be. Consider your brand, colours, font, logo, address, size of print and make it great to look at. Remember you may want to print it in black and white. How will that look? Will it be too dark or use too much ink? Consider the paper you may choose to print on. Keep it simple always works! And consistent with branding.
  • Our goal is to make money, so have consistent repeat clients. Have you considered payment methods?  Getting clients onto direct debit may make it a more affordable option, and you will have consistent manageable income.  Could you offer bulk pre-purchases at a reduced rate? How will you accept credit card payments and Online payments?
  • Have confidence that you are a valuable service and worth it.
And remember that connection is key, so start building trust, brand awareness and solid relationships by adding value, being consistent and being consistent!
