The 5 Love Languages

The 5 Love Languages

Love languages.

The five languages are all about how you receive love and how you give love. It’s different for everyone. Love languages are all about strengthening relationships, strengthening relationships with yourself, and strengthening your relationship with others. By working out what your love language is you can become more fulfilled as a  business owner, bus it is also really important that you teach others how to love you best

Physical touch

Acts of service

Receiving gifts

Quality times

Words of affirmation

So if you think about how you best like love.  For example, my partner, loves acts of service, quality time and physical touch.  For him, words of affirmation and receiving gifts are not big.  He and I are actually the same. And that’s really good. Because Could you imagine if you love language was quality time, but your partners were receiving gifts, and they just keep giving you gifts, you don’t really want gifts, all you want is time, but they keep giving you gifts.

This is how you can factor in your love language to make sure that you are fulfilled as a person and as a business owner. So if physical touch is what makes you feel love, then you could book things like massages, you could have soft fluffy blankets, physical activity, spa day skincare routines, swimming, stretching, these are all ways that you could factor those into your busy life so that you could get fulfilled from a physical touch perspective, or you could go into Tinder, LOL

If acts of service are something that makes you feel good  (acts of service is one of my ones). Arranging things for you yourself that makes you feel good.  You could do therapy, you could do charitable work or acts of kindness. For me, it’s all about volunteering or putting yourself in positions where you can be of service to others.

Receiving Gifts or treating yourself by purchasing things that make you happy. So buy yourself little gifts and indulgences, and invest in yourself.  Be mindful of your budget though.  It is all good to love yourself but don’t break the bank.

So quality time is spending time alone, hobbies and doing things that you love most. It could be a meditation hobby, creative time, taking yourself out on dates, relaxing. Quality time with yourself.

Words of affirmation – giving yourself pep talks and encouraging yourself. This could be books, positive self-talk daily affirmations, journaling, and mantras. So these are things that you can factor into your day that are going to make you feel better.

Now when it comes to awareness of the other side of the story, so whether or not this is your partner, relationships with the children, relationships with your partner, or just relationships with your clients, or even with your prospects.  We now have to consider what their love languages are then decided how we’re going to deepen those relationships so that we can become more memorable and appeal to them more.

So if you know what language your prospects will respond to then you can adapt your desirable offer to be more appealing to them. Consider what your deliverables are,  how you’re going to respond, how you’re going to engage each other, how you’re going to communicate with each other.  Or even in your content or your ebooks that you create.  You need to satisfy their love language to be meaningful or memorable to them. It is all about making your clients or prospective clients feel comfortable and speaking to them in their love language is a huge step in the right direction.
