These are not my steps. I learned these from doing Sandy Fosters amazing program. I have however put my little spin on some of them.
- First decide on your dreams, your desires and your goals. So, have clarity. And the example of this is if you want to buy a dress. You get to the shop and you say ‘I’d like to buy a dress.’ They’re going to say, ‘Well what dress do you want?’ And if you say you don’t know, well, what are you going to get? You’re going to get something in the wrong size. You’re going to get it in the wrong colour. You’re going to get at the wrong length and the wrong style. If you just said you wanted a dress, what would you get? You wouldn’t get exactly what it is that you want. It would be like a lucky packet. So, write down what are your dreams? What are your desires and what are your goals? Be absolutely clear on it.
- Focus on the top 10. So we’re going to prioritise. And this is something I do anyway. It’s something that transformed my business. I look at what are the top priorities for the week, and only when those are done do I move on to anything else. In fact, there was one time when I was procrastinating, and I was a little bit all over the place. I made a rule that I couldn’t exercise, (I love to exercise first thing in the morning) until I’d done my top priorities on that list. I was so scared of doing that list, it was uncomfortable and horrible. And guess what, I did it and then I went and exercise.
- Become who you want to be. You have got to be clear on who it is exactly that you want to be. I want to be able to achieve all of my goals, but not have to wear high heels and makeup every day and not sacrifice the gym. Who do you want to be? For me, that also means surrounding yourself with like-minded people. And be careful what you give yourself permission to do or to be because if you keep saying ‘I’m always broke’ or ‘I’m always unwell’ or ‘I’m always procrastinating’ or ‘I never follow through with things’. If you keep telling yourself these things, that is what you will become.
- Data goals. So have solid intentions, but make sure that they’re realistic as well. If it is unrealistic, it’s going to scare the shit out of you, and it’s going to be harder for you to achieve. So set realistic, solid intentions and put a date on it. You can’t say I want to be a millionaire by tomorrow, because there’s a shitload of stuff that you’ve got to do in order to make that possible, and you’ve got to be ready for that.
- Add energy or feelings as you put that into practice. Now, I’m going to tell you right now, this one over here is hectically challenging f犀利士 or me, for someone who’s a control freak and who has trust issues. Adding positive, happy feelings as I do things, as I put things into practice can be a little bit challenging. So I’ve had to work on that muscle, on that thing of letting go or believing. Part of this is showing gratitude for the things that you have and nurturing them. If you want a new car then show you that you can look after the car that you have right now. Because the universe is not going to trust you if you’re not committed.
- Visualize. Many people underestimate the power of visualizing. How important it is to actually see and feel things. Vision boards are an awesome way of achieving this.
- I’m going to say get off your ass. But what Sandy Fosters said was – meet the universe halfway. Many people out there asking for everything in the world and doing all of these things and probably spending too much time manifesting every day. But not enough time taking action. Meet them halfway. Which means you’ve got to get ready for the things that you actually want, which is selling your furniture if you don’t want it, clearing up your diary and get it ready. Get rid of the shit that’s inside there. The stuff that is not serving you. Make space for the things that you want. Which for example, could be time for more clients.
So here are the questions to ask yourself.
- What do I want?
- When do I want it?
- Why do I want it?
- How would I feel having it?
- What do I need to do to move closer to that?
Your world is your creation.
You are creating it all the time and what you’re focusing on is what is coming to you. If you focus on chaos, chaos will come to you and all you will see is chaos. We need to clear the space.
